MYTVOnline on Formuler Z (3 portal types)

Formuler’s MYTVOnline app is the heart of the experience. It supports three connection types so most providers work out of the box:

  • MAC-ID (Stalker): Portal URL only (service links your device’s MAC).
  • XC (Xtream Codes): Portal URL + Username + Password.
  • M3U: Playlist URL (or file) that contains channels and VOD.

Tip: On MYTVOnline 2, go to Menu → Connections. On MYTVOnline 3, use Menu → Content Manager → Content Sources to add or edit services.

Which Formuler model do you have?

Runs MYTVOnline 3 with a refreshed UI, faster zapping, and ongoing updates. If you’re buying new, Z11 is the current flagship for IPTV on Formuler Z.

Z10 family

Ships with MYTVOnline 2. Still excellent for daily use; supports the same portal types (MAC, XC, M3U).

Z8 & earlier

Older but capable devices that also use MYTVOnline 2. Steps below still apply—with menu names that match MTOL2.

Z mini / others

Newer compact sticks can run MYTVOnline 3. Always check the official product page for the app version on your model.

Quick Start: Add your IPTV on Formuler Z

  1. Open MYTVOnline on your Formuler Z device.
  2. Select Add Portal / Add Connection.
  3. Choose your login type:
    • MAC-ID: paste your provider’s Portal URL. (Your device’s MAC appears on screen.)
    • XC (Xtream): enter Portal URL, Username, Password, then toggle Login Required if prompted.
    • M3U: paste the full M3U/M3U8 URL. EPG/Logos are usually included; you can add an XML EPG link if provided.
  4. Press Connect and wait for sync. You’ll see Live TV groups, Movies, Series, and the EPG.
  5. Go to Menu → Settings to tweak player options, subtitles, audio, and recording (if supported).

EPG, Quality & Remote Tips

EPG offset

If guide times are off, open MYTVOnline settings and adjust the EPG mode/offset (UTC, manual ± hours) until programs align correctly.

Playback & sources

For buffering, try a different source (if available), reduce resolution (4K→1080p), or enable hardware decoding. Wired Ethernet usually beats Wi-Fi.

Favorites & groups

Press the options key to Favorite channels, reorder groups, and hide categories you never watch—navigation becomes much faster.

Remote hotkeys

Formuler BT/IR remotes support programmable hotkeys for quick actions like Search, EPG, or VOD. Check the remote guide in Helpdesk.

Troubleshooting

  • Can’t connect? Double-check the portal URL and credentials. For XC, ensure Login Required is enabled where applicable.
  • Black screen or crash? Clear MYTVOnline cache/data, reboot the box, then reconnect. Install the latest firmware and app updates.
  • No EPG? Add the XML EPG URL (if your provider offers one) and refresh the guide. Adjust EPG mode to UTC if needed.
  • Wrong build? If you restored from another box, remove/re-add the portal on this device so your MAC and paths are correct.

FAQ

Does Formuler include channels?

No. Formuler provides the hardware and the MYTVOnline player. You must add your own legal IPTV service (XC/M3U or MAC portal). If you need one, head to zen4ktv.com.

What’s the difference between MYTVOnline 3 and 2?

Both support MAC/XC/M3U. MYTVOnline 3 (Z11 series) adds UI upgrades and new features; MYTVOnline 2 powers Z10/Z8 and remains fully capable for daily streaming.
